invite you to join us for an evening of cocktails, canapes and great caliber networking in support of an excellent cause with an immediate need.

ChinaOnTV's film crew will be on location profiling those of you in attendance for upcoming segments on The China Business Network and ChinaOnTV.

Christine Lu of The China Business Network will be announcing the upcoming Beta launch of a new partnership in advance of the official press release scheduled to go out the following Monday.

Elliott Ng of CNReviews.com will be in town from Silicon Valley to announce partnership plans for a multi-city China tour taking place in November involving key figures and influencers of social media from the international community. (we're VERY excited about the interest this has received thus far in the US)

Award Winning Film Maker Siok Siok Tan will be showing a trailer of her recently released documentary about the Beijing Olympics called Boomtown Beijing and providing updates on international screenings taking place in benefit of The Library Project's Earthquake Relief initiative.

All of the proceeds from this Tech Week Charity Cocktail will be forwarded to The Library Project's Earthquake Relief initiative.

The Library Project has created a program, "Project: Earthquake Relief", to help rebuild the educational system that was affected as a result of the earthquake. It is projected that hundreds of elementary schools have been damaged in the Sichuan and Shaanxi Provinces. The Library Project will be providing educational resources for the displaced children attending temporary schools.

It is our goal to raise enough funds to support a new library for one elementary school while connecting business leaders based in Beijing with international based business leaders attending conferences that week . If you are Beijing based or in town this week for the CHINICT or Asian VC Journal Conferences, we hope to see you on Friday night after 7:30pm at the JW Marriott's Loong Bar. It's a great opportunity to bring together a wide range of business folks in Beijing.
